It is exciting and a privilege for an immigrant to be able to apply and become a U.S. citizen. There are different ways to obtain U.S. citizenship.
· After meeting the requirements established under the Act, a green card holder may apply for U.S. citizenship through “Naturalization” process.
· U.S. citizenship may be “Acquired” through U.S. citizen parents either at birth or after birth, but before the age of 18
